Dr. John Herzog has all of the experience and credentials you’d expect, and more. He’s built an innovative, empathetic practice by prioritizing individualized treatment options, ensuring that each patient is a partner in their dental health. He’s also committed to the relationships he builds with his
employees, business affiliates, and the community.
Dr. Herzog graduated from St. John’s Prep in Danvers, Holy Cross College, and Columbia University School of Dental Medicine. In 1985, after a one-year General Practice Residency at St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital, he returned to the North Shore, and in 1990, opened his own practice in Beverly, MA. Almost 20 years later, he moved to his current location in Danvers, where his practice has continued to grow and thrive.
Dr. Herzog is also dedicated to his profession. He’s held many leadership roles in the industry, including Chair of the North Shore District, and General Chair of Boston’s Yankee Dental Congress. He is a member of both the American College and the International College of Dentists, establishments that invite members based on their commitment to organized and ethical dentistry.
Dr. Herzog and his wife Barb have three children and one grandchild. At home, time with family and friends is a must!
Dr Elyse Wagner is so happy to be able to serve the greater Danvers community and to bring her unique skill set to Herzog Dental. In addition to routine general dentistry Dr. Wagner welcomes complex challenges, dental implant restorations, cosmetic dentistry, veneers, dentures, and maxillofacial prostheses. She approaches her patients with humor and genuine care and takes the time to get to know them on a personal level. She brings a similar treatment philosophy focused on tooth preservation and best current practices.
Elyse Wagner grew up in Long Island, NY and attended the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She received a Master’s in oral biology with a focus on oral cancer research from New York University. She is a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and completed her prosthodontics residency at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Maxillofacial prosthetics fellowship/Oral Oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She is a member of the American college of prosthodontists and associate fellow of the American academy of maxillofacial prosthetics. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, hiking, and discovering new playgrounds with her husband and two young daughters
Ying Yue, DDS
Dr. Ying Yue is the perfect fit for Herzog Dental. She’s kind, personable and patient. She’s a highly-skilled general dentist and works with her patients to restore oral health and improve their overall quality of life. Dr. Yue joined the practice in 2019 and has delivered exceptional care since day one.
Dr. Ying Yue graduated with a D.D.S degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2016. During dental school, Dr. Yue won the Birnberg Student Award in Basic Science and was chosen to be a member of the honors program by the Class Committee. After graduation, Dr. Yue completed a one-year General Practice Residency training program at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut.
In her spare time, Dr. Yue loves traveling with her husband and their daughter and enjoys parties and movies with her friends.
Business and Operations Manager
From marketing to practice management, Barb works closely with the dentists and staff to grow the business, ensure operations are running smoothly, and keep everyone focused on delivering high-quality patient care. With expertise in marketing communications, Barb has helped the practice embrace more digital initiatives and take many manual processes online, improving efficiency and the patient experience. Barb completed a Mini-MBA at Bentley University through the Yankee Dental Congress and the Massachusetts Dental Society.
